It's very Klaus though. Always with the inflated ego about his own hype. I mean when he first came on tvd I got that he was a scary badass, but around s4 he stopped being this elusive evil being whose name struck fear into his victims and just became the hot british villain.

I mean I get having the curse broken and being truly immortal/unkillable made him feel like he didn't have to hide so much from enemies/Mikael, but I feel like it really took away from his reputation when he started throwing lavish parties and just being extremely accessible. Plus now all he does is drink and cry his single man-tear .

10000% agree. I was so disappointed with how quickly Mikael was killed off and then how we didn't see any repercussions of it. Like Klaus and his siblings were on the run from him for 1000 years and you're telling me that killing his father had no lasting effects or the fact that he didn't need to run any longer?

And then when he came back they still killed him off very quickly

I wouldn't have been so disappointed with him being killed off this time if they actually did more with him. He was Davina's bitch and then disappeared until Freya showed up and then disappeared until he was killed off.
Tbh Mikael was way better treated than Klaus' bio dad . Now that was a mess. __________________

Literally the dumbest thing they ever did. Resurrect him only so Jackson and Hayley can be aware of some ancient ritual that lets them have super powers if married and then kill him off for no other reason than they just felt like it. I mean the excuse was Klaus was trying to hide his kid's existence and thought his bio dad was a threat, but literally 2 episodes later everyone freaking knew about the kid! Ugh!

This show literally just makes me think of Pinnochio from Geico preaching lack of potential every time
