Yeah, it's a great scene and it's the first i thought "hmm there is something there". Before that, i never thought about them, even though their antagonism was fun to watch.

Well if what Ian said is true... the writers were going to go that direction but the network didn't want it because of the "triangle" and stuff like that...

I can't believe how stupid networks continue to get. The control they have over a show is so freaking unreal - I guess they'll never learn

they've closed down many a good projects cz of it.

Personally I think KW left cz of it. Yeah he doesn't like sticking to one place long...but let's be honest it's tiny bit creatively claustrophobic if you been forced into a specific corner all the time

well he didn't actually say they were ever going to go in that direction. he just said that Bamon had a popular response

I like Ian's stance on Bamon. He's cautiously optimistic - I mean he ships it in all forms but he's not blind to the possibility of the writers and network are just holding out on old sterotypes of Hollywood.

When show writers/the network refuse to put a couple together with natural chemistry in favorite of a triangle that's pretty much over it just serves to make fans hate Elena more then they already do...
