OMG this would make the most amazing Damon video and his love for Elana! The lyrics fit so well for him. A lot of people have used it for Stephan and the series in general but it fits Damon to perfection!

Totally agree he felt a stronger connection between them we see that when she saids to Damon I'm sorry in reference to Katherine she treats him like a human she sees his pain behind the mask he puts up. He was even taken aback by her comment in reference to Katherine. He tries so hard to desperately want what his brother has with her and life but in the end has a side of him that wants love and craves it just as much as Elana does.
PLus they talk I mean really talk I think it is so strange and fast how much Stefan and Elana were kissing in the second episode I mean they just met there is no base there or history with Damon there is.
