I think my favorite thing about them is how Caroline would comfort him when he was post-transformation, naked and vulnerable; how it wasn't about sex in that moment but pure intimacy of him craving her cuddles and reassurance

Me too, there was an attraction there, but their connection went way beyond that, the nudity didn't even matter - what mattered was that they were both ok

They were true soulmates, nobody understood him like she did and he literally did everything in his power to protect her (it was obvious to me that he left town in S4 to stop her from worrying about what Klaus could do to him

He literally had no other choice, & she understood that. They were going to keep trying to find a way to be together, no matter how hard it got

What I hate is how Season 5 makes it look like Tyler just gave up on her on his revenge mission to get Klaus

I have so many issues with how this was handled
