Well, you never know, they may make them end up together in the end regardless, without a back-ground story post- season6, but still, seeing how they're handling this show it may happen, more like hinting it

If they allow Bonnie to live out her life, I could see them ending the series with a flashforward of Bonnie being married to some random guy before she dies.

What's worse is that they didn't forget, JP admitted that Beremy deserved closure. She (and the other writers) just didn't care enough to write it in.
