 I've actually always loved this relationship, right back to S1 when Alaric helped Jer get back on top of things with school The last ep made my heart SWELL for them though.  And it looks like Alaric is going to be a big part of both Jeremy and Elena's lives now  __________________

Same! When Jenna died, the first thing I thought (after all the tears) was ALARIC MUST BE DAD.

I feel like I need to rewatch the whole show and gather up all their scenes  One I LOVED was when Mayor Lockwood was trying to get Jer and Tyler to fight, and Alaric came out to stop him. He was so protective of Jer, right from the start __________________
