As much as I love Jo/Rick together, Alaric/Jenna will always have a special place in my heart, they were the couple that did nothing wrong in the end and just deserved to be happy, pity they took that away from them

Looking at it now, they really got rid of Jenna too soon

I mean, as far as I'm concerned they could have not done it at all, but since they did, it was so soon

I think I read somewhere that KW said he sometimes wondered if they killed Jenna too soon.... I might not be remembering right. But I definitely agree with you. They played their cards too soon. So much happened in the s2 finale. They could have let Jenna live.

At least through s3.

Considering how the story went on, they should have

If TVD was planned to last only 3-4 seasons, that'd be another talk, but since at least 6 seasons were already considered, they could have made her last for season3 at leats, her story with Rick could have evolved with the problem of vampirism and then, evenutally, they could have killed her

Especially bc in season2 she and Rick couldn't even enjoy their reunion properly

I like Alaric&Jo, but in the last episode Jo was written like a Jenna 2.0 to me.
