Yep, I agree

It could be like a parallelism with 4x07, them together at night, after a bad day, just enjoying a moment together, lost in their bubble

Aaw yes a 4x07 parrallel would be awesome and sweet.

I can imagine that of things have changed when DE reunite (for better or worse). So it would be nice to see DE forgetting their worries, and just have their moment.

The importance is that they always survive in the end

This year it seemed like they should have been over for good, because they are "toxic"

Haha yes everyone is always screaming that DE won't last and blabla.

But the season finales always prove the opposite.

They always give strong hints, and tell the DE fans that things will be ok.

IKR?! They're so funny, I'll maybe start to be worried the day they'll stop saying so and start to say the opposite

Season finales belong to Delena and they always add something that proves they'll survive

I'll keep that thought in mind.

They need to keep the DE fans in suspension after all, wondering if they'll make it. If the writers say "it's always going to be DE", we know that we're doomed.

Yep the finale belongs to DE, no matter what people say. Reminds me of Friends...the finale always belonged to Ross/Rachel too.

I think it speaks volumes that this happened, in good and bad times, but still it was always Delena

Haha yes, then we can use the "duh" gif.

Yep season 1 had the first (fake) kiss, season 2 had Elena taking care of Damon, season 3 the flashback, season 4 Elena choosing Damon, and season 5 had more future-talk (plus the car scene).

So the season 4 finale had Elena's speech, season 5 Damon's speech. Maybe it's Elena's turn again in season 6.

And Damon in season 7...and who knows...maybe with a "certain question".
