EDIT: If it's on any consolation, a lot of people started to ship them in 5x22 when he was saying her goodbye too, guess it's Delena's impact on people, they make people shipe them in the most painful situations

I also saw people being confused after 5x22: "mmm I don't know...should I ship Delena?" And I'm like "you either ship people, or not." Not because of the popularity, but because you simply love them.

The first 2 episodes were packed with DE, so I can understand that they are now showing less of them. Besides, there are also fans of other relationships/friendships, so they have to give them something.

Yeah, she wanted to stay loyal and not give up on Stefan already, that's good of her But she already fell for Damon, she couldn't help it, his selfless action touched her heart

Seems a matter of life and detah question like this None is forced to like them or like them anymore, I understand why people may give up on them, you just feel it or you don't

Honestly, I didn`t want to ship DE because I knew that the writers would never make it easy for DE, but it was too late I had already fallen in love with them

Besides, at the beginning I never thought that DE would ever have the chance to be endgame.
