Yes... as he said: Without Elena there's just an awful lot of darkness
 He has to learn now that he has light in himself too  It's why Elena fell for him, bc she saw that and not only the dark parts of him. If only he would understand that  Oh yes, I just want them back! Have them interact, no matter how. I miss them so much I'm afraid to have higher expectations again  Last time having none at all worked so good. I fear now that I expect more again it'll be a letdown  __________________

Yes, it's really interesting how the few people that started to care about Damon are the ones who he opened up to. If only he could understand that. That the real him is loveable and worthy Haha yes, I think once elena is back a lot of things will be better. __________________
