I thought the Damon and Elena had some great scenes! I loved Damon's speech at the end.
 But...I'm not a fan of the cosmic/universe love story.  And I'm disappointed with Silas. |

Yeah Silas is a real douche bag.
Meanwhile I really don't mind this story at all. I know some of what's going to happen so I am really excited about future story lines for everyone...especially DE.  |

I like all the story lines a lot except Silas. It's like the show has had this amazing reset or something. The show is definitely peaking at the right time. The dialogue is snappy and everything just seems so new even DE's love story in a way. Yeah Bonnie will be human long before the end of the season...mark my words.
