I dont want them to kill him off

I want him to disappear at the end of this story arc...and then come back every now and then, making an awesome entrance every time

That awesome idea..so why not? They could have him leave the town then come back when things are starting to be bored so he could spice it up

I'd like to be a sort of ally in the end...

Like....the gang could never really trust him, and I think he'd always look out for himself. But IF it was in his best interests, he'll occasionally help them out.

But also still be badass and scary.

Yeah, I can see Elijah could help them for his benefit, just imagine when Klaus finally arriving?

Do you think He will join the team since he couldn't obey Klaus?
