Never in a million years would I have put
these two together but once the show put
them together, everything just clicked
together. The chemistry between Steven and
Kat is undeniable and I love the dynamic
between the two characters. In a way, they
both have been struggling alone through
this whole thing. Jeremy's significant others &
parents have all died some how around him
and Bonnie, being the only witch in Mystic Falls,
a lot of times feels alone and confused in her
role as a witch amongst supernaturals. But I
think their relationship could not have been
better timed for the both of them--they have
each other now to look out for and lean on.
And it's been beautiful to watch :love:

I first saw the potential with Bonnie and Jeremy after
they're conversation in "Rose" they talked about how
they felt and how they had no one and felt lonely.
They looked in each other eyes and there was a
connection that neither of them was looking for but there it was.
I love that Bonnie is this strong person but with Jeremy she
can let her guard done down she can lean on someone
and know that no matter what he will be there for her.
Anyway that she needs him he will be there when she
told Elena that Jeremy was "strong and brave" she meant
that beacuse he had been/is all of those things for her.
Jeremy has been searching for himself and I think he
found who he is and who he wants to be and Bonnie is
apart of that. She excepts Jeremy for who he is.
She's seen his phases and she knows Jeremy and she loves
him for everything that he is. I think this ship does
amazing things for both characters they bring out sides
in each other that we hadn't seen before.
They bring out the best in each other and
I love that and them together.

When I first heard that the show was considering
the pairing of Bonnie and Jeremy I was completely
against it. I thought it was a ridiculous idea!
However then they shared scenes in The Masquerade
and I was instantly intrigued by their chemistry.
I certainly didn’t expect it to be as strong as it was.
I became enchanted with them when I saw how brightly
Bonnie smiled around Jeremy. They light up around
each other, so it made it impossible for me to not
enjoy them. Suddenly I couldn’t wait for their scenes
together. They somehow just fit for me as I realized
that they actually do have a lot in common with one
another. I love how Jeremy is always concerned about
her, up until he entered the picture no one ever worried
about Bonnie Bennett. I love how they are always
trying to protect one another and they have each
other’s back. They are sweet and innocent but they also
know how to bring the heat and angst. Bonnie and
Jeremy are one of my favorite things about watching
the Vampire Diaries. Bonnie and Jeremy are like
sunshine to me on this very dark show. I am looking
forward to seeing where their love story takes them.

There’s a fundamental contrast between the two,
and yet they are so similar in more ways than one.
That’s what drew me to this pairing in the first place.
Jeremy had just gone through some of the
worst times of his life, so he was trying to recover
by looking for his purpose. While Bonnie always
knew her purpose, her struggle was
just accepting it. Two people with such different
motivations like this shouldn’t work; at least
that’s always the way I’ve believed things to be.
Yet, somehow this just clicked right away.
They have a certain charm about them
that I’m always pleasantly surprised to see.
It’s all in the way they make each other
so happy. I've never seen these two smile as
often with other people as they do around each
other. It’s almost like they have these versions
of themselves that only comes out when they are
together. That’s an amazing thing to watch.
I love that Jeremy started caring more about her
because he saw that she doesn’t have it quite
as together and she always seems to.
They related on that level, because Jeremy
knows what it’s like to be that person.

If I start writing "JEREMY!" every time he appears, will you guys be mad? He wants a school spell and a sex spell! He hilarious. McQueen's casual delivery here has me swooning for all the wrong reasons. "You want to dance or something, while we're waiting?" He's so charming, and he is bringing out some really fun sides of Bonnie that we haven't seen yet. It also leaves room for Jeremy to sweep in and cheer her ass up. They should go learn some sex spells. ... "When did you get your driver's license?" she laughs when he offers her a ride. Translation: "When did you get so hot? Let's go learn some sex spells!" - Zap 2it

... Including Bonnie and Jeremy, who’ve paired off and now hole up in an empty upstairs room. Jeremy tells Bonnie it’s awesome that she’s a witch; Bonnie tells him she hates it because everyone in her line of work dies. ... They totally have a moment, in which Steven R. McQueen flexes his jaw muscle like he’s James Bond. It’s hot. Jeremy saunters up to offer Bonnie a ride home and Bonnie’s all, “When did YOU grow up, Jeremy Gilbert?” They walk off into a new, promising romantic story arc. - Hitfix

Jeremy offered Bonnie a ride home. She wanted to know when he got his driver's license, and he told her he wasn't a little kid anymore. She told him she'd love a ride home, and I may have cheered a little. For a second, I thought they might hold hands, but I'm glad they didn't. Let's take this slow. The flirtation between Bonnie and Jeremy was well handled as even though he is her best friends little brother they have upped his level of maturity this season and with this upped his hotness, could this flirtation develop in to something more? - TVOvermind

Jeremy Casts a Sex Spell: Speaking of new romance, Jeremy spends most the episode casually flirting with Bonnie, ultimately giving her a ride home. Both of these characters haven't been too lucky in the love department, so I fully endorse a Jeremy-Bonnie love story. - BuddyTV

... When he offers Bonnie a ride home, she boggles at the fact that he's old enough to drive. Jeremy's expression, while exasperated, remains charming. "I'm not a kid anymore, Bonnie." Finally, we get to the moment of the night I rewound most: The Kiss. ... And then Bonnie said, "Wait." [!!!]"You think I’m hot?" How many people yelled, "OBVIOUSLY!" at their TVs? That was all he needed to hear. As she continued to ramble, he said, "Enough already," took a couple of steps toward her and kissed her. It was definitely not the kiss of a little brother. “Wow,” she said. (I opted for a chant of "Jere-my! Jere-my! Jere-my!" myself.) He smiled and they kissed again. TFTNT!!! This title is so sad!! It makes me want to cry. :( I can't believe they are sending Jeremy away! I really hope they bring him back and reunite Beremy. Jeremy can come back, knowing what he wants and fighting for another chance to be with Bonnie. I am NOT ready for this ship to end! SO much wasted potenial, it makes me mad. I am holding out hope for a decent good-bye scene.

I'm not giving up yet either. I think that there is still a chance.

Besides, this is tv. Nothing is ever really dead so long as the characters are on the show.


I have a hope that Jeremy will become like a hunter or something and that they'll have him and Bonnie do stuff together (Maybe take a road trip) to find something to help with Klaus/the originals or something and they'll start to mend fences

I agree with every word! I'm not ready to give up on this ship just yet. The most wasted potential definitely goes to beremy without a doubt. :nod:
Also, nothing is ever really over especially not on the vampire diaries. We just need Jeremy to come back. I really hope we get to see a decent goodbye scene with them before Jeremy leaves- hopefully for an incredibly short time.

Hey everyone, havent been here for awhile, prob cause it saddens me what they have done to such an amazing pair. I hope that Bonnie goes against Elena's decision and un-compels Jeremy please please he better not leave

i agree but i have a feeling that he is going to leave. because they actually did something interesting with him killing the hybrid dude and well, it makes sense that to follow that up the show has him leave, I guess....


which kinda, irks me. i mean, even if you forget about Bonnie/Jeremy for a sec... how much more interesting would Jeremy have been this season had they gone the route of him becoming a hunter type character the entire first half of the season rather than the stupid ghost thing?

maybe he could become a new hunter like his uncle jon? that would create some conflict and drama with the supernaturals and stuff and force him to maybe make some hard choices too

I think regardless of whether Jer was leaving or not, it's clear we wouldn't get much of these two, so that doesn't bother me too much, in that I am SURE he'll be back at some point :nod:

With that in mind, I just hope we get a little something on Thursday. I won't call it closure, because they treated these two so terribly this season that it could never be closure for me...but some sort of acknowledgement of what they had before he leaves, will at least be a starting block when he returns :nod:

I agree.

If he can even do as little as saying that he's sorry or something along those lines, then at least at the bare minimum the foundation is there for when he comes back.

I have a grand hope of something happening when he's gone and one of Klaus' minions are up to something and instead of Elena being there it was Bonnie... but of course, it wasn't. Maybe next time but knowing JP, probably not then either.

Why do I get the feeling that something is going to happen to Jeremy while he's away? It's much too easy to have him living happily ever after in Denver. Either someone gets a hold of him like one of Klaus' minions (or something else entirely). He's more vulnerable now that he's compelled, or maybe Jer ingested vervain and pretended to be compelled by Damon. Not sure how likely the second scenario will be, but I think something will happen to him while he's away. Maybe the same thing that will hopefully bring him back to Mystic Falls.

I just hope Jeremy and Bonnie share a heartfelt goodbye before he leaves. I need one good scene. At least one.

He's coming back, he's not leaving the show. Unless the writers pull a fast one on us Jeremy will be back at some point in Mystic Falls.

But I do agree, sending him away was a weird and not great idea. I'm just hoping that when he comes back he's not involved with someone or something dumb. But it is JP and the writers so I'm bracing myself for that
