They better remove the dagger. Elijah is the most interesting character at this season. And his relationships with other characters (especially with Damon) should be more exploited. I want mentor/student relationship.

Yes! Yes! And Yes! Although I think that the mentor/student relationship should be somewhat reluctant for both of them.

My sister missed the scene where Damon tried to choke Elijah, and Elijah didn't react, so we watched it yesterday and she got a kick out of Elijah not even be phased by Damon.

She admired Damon's efforts, though.
