Their last scene together was amazing. Paul and Nina have so much chemistry as Stefan and Katherine They are my ultimate OTP on The Vampire Diaries.

It was too fast... casual viewers probably didn't get it! She really saved Damon for Stefan's sake. It was probably one of Kat's "truest" moment! It was never confusing if you rewatch it. She said it as it was.

I understand why some people might be confused so I think viewers need some confirmation in the next episode

Kat said last season that she only loves Stefan and he's the one for her. She needs to say that again this season!
