Good suggestions, Jas! I would love Girl Crush for a collaboration. But do we have to use an original song since Adam has those? I think I prefer Welcome to the Show over Rumors.

You know, I have somehow managed to miss that Stay performance. But that's great, I'd like it for a best cover! I was also thinking Ring of Fire because it is so different from the original. Or something with Queen (for a collaboration too?)? I Want To Break Free or Who Wants To Live Forever?

If we can use Queen, which I don't see why not. let's absolutely include that as best collaboration. Which of those performances do you like better? I Want to Break Free is more rocking. Maybe that one. Girl Crush is a good one too. I'm not sure if has to be an original song.

I love your choices, by the way! I adore Underground but I never thought about it as a love song. Lyrcs-wise it does fit.

I need to rewatch Ghost Town, I don't remember what special effects it had. Maybe we should stick with Better Than I know Myself for that one.

I adore Ring of Fire so I'd be down with that but I'm leaning towards Stay because it's something he covered outside of Idol. Something different. edit: And now I'm changing my mind and wanting Ring of Fire, because you're right that it's so different..

I prefer Runnin' for fan favorite song. Any way I can convince you choose Underneath for ballad?

I think last time they said it has to be an original of one of the collaborators, unless there isn't one, then we can use a cover. But it could be that in the end they said it's up to the boards because we know our artists best, so maybe it's not that strict. I would be absolutely fine with using Girl Crush because it's unexpected and would get the country vote xD. (With Queen I prefer IWTBF too.)

Ghost Town mainly had flashing lights, I think we're good with BTIKM.

Ahh, it's so hard to decice on a cover, isn't it? They would both be excellent choices. Ring of Fire was very unexoected and different, and it's a gorgeous performance. But Stay is a hugely popular song and he did an excellent job with it (I can't believe I had missed it ). I'm just glad we were able to narrow it down to these two. xD

Runnin' absolutely works for me, I prefer it over Fever just a tiny bit! Aww, but I want There I Said It there, it's better than Underneath.

We can choose Stay too. I prefer Ring of Fire but Stay is a Rihanna song so that might get some people's attention.

Yeah Stay is good but I'm all for choosing Ring Of Fire too. As a cover it stands out more.

But There I Said It more gorgeous. The instrumentation, the build-up, it sounds more modern and interesting. Granted we had it there last time and of course Underneath is very impressive and appealing too with all the emotion. How are we gonna decide? xD

Stay could be good. It's a modern song and Adam definitely makes it better than the original. If we're going with it, there was another video of it (different performance). Which one do you prefer?

We can talk about it more if you want but I'm honestly fine with TISI. It has a nice beat to it that others might enjoy more, less depressing and more catchy.

I'll see which Stay video is better. edit: I think this one has better audio. I'm glad we're almost done choosing here!

Okay. You are right that There I Said It is less depressive than Underneath, although Underneath is probably a bit more ballad-y.

I thought that has a better audio too. The other one was slightly better as a performance though, but both were excellent so we can go with the one with better audio quality.
