Oh sorry, I, am not too familiar with how that works. I assumed that workshops are rehearsals for the full productions..

Because he didn't want to.

Matts got a great track record on broadway. 3 major hit musicals already under his belt.
I am sure that he wants to pick the " right" pice to return there with and there is no rush to choose now. What ever he decides to do I am sure that it will be good. Last edited by dirtydiana; 07-28-2014 at 04:48 PM |

I was just curious not passing judgment.
Is it okay if I ask why he didn't want to do FN? If you can't say, that's of course okay too. |

Actors make these kind of choices all the time, it's not a big deal. Matt might not think that there is anything " wrong" with FN but might not consider it a fit for himself and his career aspirations. Besides Art is subjective.

I know that art is subjective. I was just curious about what he didn't like specifically.

There's no need to be condescending. It was a perfectly reasonable question.

Okay moving on.
Since I don't know anything about this type of thing, I wanted to ask. How was Matt's Italian accent in " The Light in the Piazza?" It sounded good to me, but I 'm not an expert. |

Very good for someone who's not Italian. Obviously sounding foreign to an Italian, but that's to be expected. Way better than most accents on Broadway. (I adore Kelli O'Hara, but her Italian accent in Bridges of Madison County made my stomach twirl.)
