You can't stop there! What does Quinn do next? Does she rethink hersexuality? Does her lover find out? does she do something new for him? Does Santana try to follow up and manipulate her? Did Santana like that better than britney? Does oneof them get a yeast infection?
The story can't end until they both assess the eventproperly and plan their futures-ignoring or further exploring. |

high Noon was just on. I'd like to make a prequel with Will as Marshall Caine.
He starts the movie as a sheriff in a sleepy Kentucky farm town. He joins the Civil War and is slightly wounded in a heroic battle. When he returns home he finds his family was killed by raiders. They send him to a western town overrun by a gang led by Frank Miller. Naya play Miss Ramirez,Miller's lover. As she sees Miller's influence crumbling she dumps him for will. With six deputies and local assistance they round up the gang. Miller's political connections avoid the death penalty and get him released at the end. Meanwhile Will dumps Naya for Diana (Grace Kelly's part). she's a Quaker, hating all violence since her father and brother were killed in gunfights. She persuades him to retire and marry her. Naya moves on to his restless deputy. The remake of High Noon follows directly. That could be a mini-series, two standard films or a three-hour epic. |

I posted my story Britney's Time Machine in three parts on Gleefanfiction.net.
It's adapted from the 64-day Death of Finn saga I completed last September, but with dialogue, explanations and descriptions. Everone has a moment of glory. |

Why do so few of them involve singing?

Because often fanfic writers want to do what Glee writers don't do, which is put time in the storyline and continuity.

Nut these are people who burst into song whenever something reminds them of the lyrics.
Fanfics are better than real episodes, or could be if they were prepared as episodes rather than isolated scenes. What is more simple than the episodes that start with Will giving the kids a homework assignment. Ryan Murphy telling the writers the theme of the next episode could have almost the same script. The most simple episode ever has to be the season one episode in which Will tells them to find a song that represents where you are right now, It allowed them to recap the season without a flashback. Finn sang Jesse's Girl (revealing that Jonathan's character was named Jesse only for that reason). It was probably Heather's best performance in season one (making out with Kurt as he doubted his orientation). Why do you want to kiss someone who smells like burgers? I forget if Puck got to finish his song about Quinn's pregnancy, but it got to mention it without advancing the story. The best episodes though are when someone sings a song unrelated to an episodic theme that fits their mood at the moment, and fanfics could tilt that way very easily. |
