Bahahaha. Ever since Rachel was telling Mr. Shue that she needs a male lead to balance her out, I was like "Fiiinnnnnn" Then the crazy eyes sealed the deal. Then the way they look at each other during DSB sealed the deal even more.

It was like that for me too. Right off the bat when Rachel started giving her first monologue i was like "ok i can already tell she is going to be my favorite character" then she talked about getting a male lead and i'm like "enter dreamboat from the beginning" and then yeah the crazy eyes and then the whole thing about how the rest of the team expects them to be togethe,r half way through the episode i was in love with them. DSB just sealed the deal for me.

I think On My Own is my favorite song from the pilot. It's such foreshadowing, and not only does it give us a look into the future. The whole Rachel in the shadow of Quinn/Finn but her rendition of it made me cry.

Even Cory said they're wasn't a dry eye in the house when she sang it.

Actually there wasnt really any relationship clips but the leather jacket scene, i think it was a dream musical moment because it was in he choir room and there was flashing lights going off everywhere. it was crazy!

I know, that's why I love her performance of it so much. I mean obviously we see some bits of the song "true" right now, I mean, I don't think that song only describes her feelings for Finn, but also her life and her passion because she's alone (until now) on those too.

But the B side to that, I am hoping, is Finn's song (Can't Fight That Feeling). I hope it's foreshadowing some FR stuff for future episodes, but I mean, it is similar to Rachel's song because it also describes Finn's life and his own passions.

Then the two of them coming together with "You're the One That I Want"... Seriously, I am hoping it's not just a coincidence that they picked that song for Finn and Rachel's first duet since it perfectly describes their relationship at that moment... both their music aspirations on.. perhaps love.
