Thanks I actually loved the song, it was just when he told her no in front of everyone I felt so bad for her even though I expected that to happen.

As usual they did a few things I wanted but not quite the way I wanted them to.
I've wanted someone to sing that song for two years but didn't think it could happen because everyone is so open about their feelings.
I wanted someone to sing it alone (or maybe to Emma) early in the season, then sing Secret Love after she gets her man late in the season.
Tina crushing on Blaine makes sense, but it's a two-year setback for her character.
She dumped Artie for Mike because of his abs, so naturally the best-looking man alive would be the next person to fixate on.
However every scene with Mike for two years advanced their relationship and at two years their relationship is Glee's record-holder.
I disapproved at the time but understood. I didn't notice Mike in season one. (Did he get any lines?) When I was on Foxforum someone named Ryan (possibly RYAN) told me Matt had two lines in season one. Obviously if Mike was staying he needed something to do. unfortunately he dragged Tina down to the bottom of the cast and probably got more lines than she did.
We still don't know why they broke up, do we? Could it have been her affection for Blaine?
What I wanted was for three new girls (only one joining New Directions) to spend all year going after Blaine. I wanted someone (and it could have been Tina) to discover the plot and have her own angle on the matter. I wanted Blaine to try straightness.
What would happen if he got close to Wade but then Wade decided to become a girl?
In any case I hope they get some great duets the rest of the year. most plots like this are designed only for the sake of great songs.

She wants to do something from The Flower Drum Song. I don't know if there's a duet in that.
How about something from Miss Saigon?
The only white/Oriental love story is Love is a Many Splendored Thing and the theme song is soft and sweet.
I want to hear "I Loved You Once in Silence" from Camelot. To make that song fit Blaine will have to eventually admit he's loved Tina secretly for a year and they will have to be publicly harassed for their relationship.
If Blaine can't be stretched that far they could still get harassed by everyone including Kurt, Finn and Artie then sing "You and Me Against the World."
The only other song that makes sense without plot development is "Opposites Attract" but that would work better for Puck and Kitty.
