90s TV and Movies #1: Because there were too many of them!

This thread is just a general thread for the shows and movies of the 90s that doesn't have a thread for.

Anyone remember the Problem Child movies? I think there was a cartoon too.

I loved the Problem Child movies. There were 3 of them and I don't really care for the third one since it has different actors in it. The second one was on tv the other night, but sadly I fell asleep. I haven't seen the first one in forever though.

Exactly what the title says a problem child. I don't remember the first one all that great but this child was like the kid from hell. You just couldn't control him. It's a cute movie. John Ritter is in the first two playing the child's dad. Well I think in the first one he adopts the boy.

That reminds me of the movie Clifford. Martin short (40 at the time) play like, a 10 or 12 year old kid who is so crazy.

I made a thread for that movie but no one ever posts in it!!

I don't think I remember that movie. I've seen a few threads that hardly no one posts in.

Anyone remember the show The Highlander? I used watch it with my dad all the time. I actually caught an episode not long ago on Sci Fi channel.

There was a show? I thought it was just a movie. Are they in the same area or are they 2 completely different stories?

One movie I really love is American Beauty. The story is so twisted but everything about it, the writing, the acting is so well done.

I remember the Problem Child movies! I loved them so much as a kid. I used to be able to do the mad scowl face Trixie (from the 2nd one) did and I looked like her. I was just looking up the 2 movies on one DVD release of them too. The movies are similar in the theme of 'problem children' but the ending to one lead to a good plot (I think) in the sequel. The third one's really not great at all. I never saw the cartoon though.
American Beauty's an amazing movie too, I only just saw it in the last year or so but it was fantastic.

I didn't know there was a Highlander movie. I just remember the show.

I've seen bits of American Beauty. I should of known anything twisted and weird Chrissy would love.

There are actually 4 Highlander movies I think. Alexander Paul (the Highlander in the tv show) is in all but the first one I believe.
I used to watch the show all the time. I thought he was so hot for and older guy and Richie Ryan too lol

I miss old school Nickoldeon and Disney shows. The crap that's on TV now is just unwatchable. 90's kids got the "best of both worlds"

It's okay!

Maybe you're psychic and knew I was going to say I liked it!

Anyone remember a show called Swans Crossing? It played on my Fox channel. Here's the intro:

It was basically a soap opera for kids/pre-teens. Had Sarah Michelle Geller prior to her Kendall Hart role on All My Children and there's no double in my mind she got it because of her gig on Swans.

They had dolls too!
