I just got this series on DVD and was wondering if anyone else was interested in this {underrated} teen soap/drama

It's a comedy/drama series that ran from 1999-2000. It was created by Ryan Murphy (the guy behind Glee) following "popular" and "unpopular" students at Kennedy High. All is normal until the popular Brooke McQueen's (Leslie Bibb) father and the unpopular Sam McPherson's (Carly Pope) mother meet and become engaged whilst on a cruise. Thereby forcing the two girls whom hate eachother to live together, forcing their groups to get along

I remember watching this on the good 'ol WB. I wasn't a devoted follower or anything, but I remember watching from time and time. It was a real good show. When I first saw it, I wasn't quite sure what it was. Lol. I mean, it was funny, but had serious moments too, and it had this sort of off the wall, quirky tone to it as well. It was an interesting show that's for sure. Lol. It should of lasted longer.

Yes, very quirky sadly it did only last 2 seasons, with one of the biggest cliffhangers I've ever seen!!

I think I've heard of it. But my area didn't get the WB. It sounds good. Did the show end with a cliff hanger?

Oh yes, I used to like this show too! I only watched the first season though.

Was that really how the finale happened?!

That sucks. I would of been so mad. Does anyone know if they made the finale like that knowing it wasn't getting picked back up?

Yep, that's really how it ended

From what I've read the writers did know it was the last, they wanted to go out with a bang!! A telemovie was on the table, but never came to fruition

You're telling me! But don't let it put you off watching the series if you're interested. That ending is so much better than everything tying up nicely imo
