I agree about the second one being better than the first one. I mean the first one was still pretty good to me but the second one was alot more fun, more relevant to the 90s culture and was about more people and their lives than deloris. __________________

I really liked both of them - I loved the twist on the older songs in the first one but loved Lauryn Hill singing His Eye Is On The Sparrow in the second one

amazing singing i wish they had just kept going with his eye is on the sparrow and ohh the large high note from Ahmal(ryan toby) in oh happy day how its like his softness builds up and then the singing gets stronger and then the high note its very uplifting to hear.

I prefer the sequel to the original as well. I'm a sucker for those teacher coming to a troubled school and saving the kids movies. Plus the music was much better in the second one. I had the soundtrack on tape and played it all the time. Lauren Hill was so amazing in it and little Jennifer Love Hewitt makes me laugh. I'm still mad at that nun for interupting His Eye Is On The Sparrow!  "If you wanna go somewhere, you better wake up and pay attention." __________________
