i felt the same in titanic when my mum was watching though i was lucky i saw romeo and juliet when she wasn't home.

I think for me when i read them its because im in a different time period and place imagining the things that are written is hard and then i lose interest and get confused.

My mom was okay with me watching this one and Titanic. She actually likes R and j more than I do. sex and the City was what she was did not like me watching

well with a name like that i don't blame her! haha but at least in Romeo and juliet there not talking about sex.....i cant say the same for the scene they filmed in titanic though! it was quite akward watching that with others around!

^ Tell me about it, I saw that for the first time with my aunt...in the theater. Boy was that embarrassing for a 12 year old girl. I saw this film a year later though, during my Leo obsession. It's pretty mild compared to things that are out now. It's very violent though so I'm surprised your mom was okay with you watching it and not SatC (which is mild if you just watch the TBS version of the show).

I remember my 9th grade English teacher letting us watch this movie and then the sex scene came on and she fast forwarded through it after everyone was laughing and joking around about it.
