I understand that friendships can be difficult and they can change over time, and I am sad that she's having a hard time, but I was very upset over the bashing on a public forum--one that was full of moms in our town. She even posted my text to her word for word, although she did at least change the names to letters.
I'm trying to "shake it off" and "let it go" (the two songs that keep going through my head.) I've kept the membership to the group in case I want to go back there for something, but it won't show up in my newsfeed any more. I prefer positive things anyway, and I get more positive things elsewhere. |

Thanks guys.
In more positive news I held a birthday party for the youngest today. Few things are cuter than a bunch of 5 and 6 year old girls dancing all over the living room to Frozen songs. <3 |

I think you've done the right thing it's easier to stay positive when it's out of sight.
It's so surprising how many children can sing all the frozen songs. I had no idea when I saw the movie how well it would resonate with children. __________________

Yeah the songs can really make or break a movie IMO. The so ngwriting was quite good in this one. I liked Tangled too, and Princess and the Frog, but the songs weren't quite as good. I think the Frozen songs were catchier and hit closet to the heart.

why ?
i actually listened to the multi language let it go today on youtube..some kid at my work was like you have to play it and the children were really entranced then one goes "that isn't elsa singing" and i said yes it was just she was singing in different languages! yeah i feel like tangled was a great movie and songs were great but no where near as catchy. __________________

One because it's Pixar and not just Disney she isn't usually included in the Disney Princess lineup. And I don't know...I feel like I prefer Disney over Pixar. Especially when it comes to princesses and fairytales.

Well she's certainly on several things my girls own. Especially the little plastic dolls they love so much. However, they can never remember her name. She's always " Brave" to them.
I was glad Merida finally got one of my daughters off her Rapunzel kick. She was always sad her hair wasn't long, blonde and straight. She finally embraced her curly hair, even if it wasn't red. Last edited by sunshineliz; 04-21-2015 at 06:59 PM |
