Plot:
A young lion prince is born in Africa, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".

Add me please? It's definitely one of the greatest Disney films. The soundtrack for the film is absolutely amazing, Elton John and Tim Rice really did a great job.

I remember crying so much when Mufassa died. Still didn't stop me watching it again and again though

This is one of the few Disney movies out there that can actually make me CRY!.
The whole thing that happens with Uncle scar and everything is absolutely tragic!.
Did you all know they based it off Shakespheare?! I never knew that until recently!

Also, The songs are the B E S T.

I cried when his dad died And to be honest the sequel is just as good as the first one.

That part is just so sad.

I think this film probably has the best songs out of all the Disney films, as much as I love Aladdin and The Jungle Book, every single song in The Lion King is amazing. I adore 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' Such a beautiful song

It's so sad how easily movies make me cry. Oh and yeah, I remember kind of liking the sequel. I haven't seen it in forever though.
