Resurrecting this thread.
Add me too! I've always adored this movie. Tom Hanks was so good as Jimmy. I loved the scene where when the team first meets him.  Mae chasing Stillwell with a bat was classic and Doris screaming after her, “Don’t use my bat, use Marla’s it heavier!” I never got over Dottie throwing the game though. I know she loved Kit but she shouldn't have come back for the last game if she was going to do that. Hell, she even gave her an advantage and told the pitcher (I forget her name) to throw her high fastballs, to deliberately drop the ball after that was awful. I felt so sorry for the rest of the team.  __________________

I wasn't entirely happy with the ending either, but I don't know how they could have done it better. It would've sucked had the Peaches won and Dottie and Kit never really gotten over the bad stuff between them.
 I loved Tom Hanks in this role! It's actually probably one of my favorites of him  __________________
