A few days ago I saw the episode where Monica was afraid to introduce the guy she was dating to the gang. They loved him, but in the end he said he couldn't stand her friends

I remember that one. Didn't he come around to them towards the end? Or was that someone else? Where they mention the break up would be harder on everyone else than them.

Sam, that was a s1 episode which is probably why you don't remember it. The gang loved him and wanted to spend time with him. Monica wasn't as crazy about him as they were and at the end, he was relieved they broke up because he couldn't stand them.

I don't remember that guy Monica dated who hated his friend, but wasn't he a psychologist or something? I don't watch any of the episodes before midway through season 4.
