Well, a cat named Danny goes to Hollywood to act in movies, but when he gets there he discovers that animals don't get very good parts and don't get to say anything in the movies except animal sounds (like his only line in the first movie he's cast in is "meow") And he wants to prove that he and the other animals can do more in the movies like singing and dancing. The villain of the movie is Darla Dimple, a Shriley Temple-like child star who hates animals.

it looks like a nice movie something i would of liked as a child it looks like they show hollywood pretty well and also make fun of it well it looks so cute seeing they push the mamoth through that ring as like the opening screen haha.

Yeah, the mamoth thing is kinda like the MGM lion thing
And I think the movie takes place in 1939 since Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz are both in theaters in the movie This movie's always been a favorite of mine. I loved Shirley Temple movies when I was little and so to see an evil girl who seemed very much like her was just fun. __________________
