It's probably my favorite overall season as well. I liked quite a few of the s3 episodes though. Same with s5.

Same here. Although I did like s4 although t it took me forever to get throught it. I think part of that was because I would watch 2 episodes of s4 and then 2 episodes of s1 of Angel.

s4 is a rough season because they lost three core members of the cast and a new theme was introduced--college years/adulthood so they had to find their footing. s4 had some really good episodes but it was kind of meh overall, imo.

If Buffy couldn't end up with Angel I actually would of liked to see her end up with Riley.

s5 is a sad season but a good one overall. April, I wasn't really a BR fan until s6, ironically. I don't think she could've ever loved him like he needed but I wouldn't have minded seeing her with someone like him in the end.

Imo, her heart always belonged to Angel and she never let anyone else get that close to her after he left.

Mmh Buffy could have become a vampire but it would bother Angel I guess. So no there is no option left. So sad.
