what did you think of season 9 what did you like and what didnt you like?

I grew up watching this show.
My top 6 couples are: Brenda/Dylan, Brandon/Kelly, Steve/Clare, Dylan/Valerie, Lucinda/Brandon, Colin/Kelly.
I also like Dylan/Toni, Brandon/Emily and Brandon/Susan.
Donna/David, David/Valerie, Brandon/Nikki were OK.
I didn't like the rest of the couples on the show and the worst one has to be Kelly/Dylan.

In terms of favorite characters,
Best: 1. Brandon 2. Steve 3. Brenda 4. Valerie
Good: 5. Dylan 6. Clare 7. David
OK: 8. Andrea
Not so good: 9. Kelly 10. Matt 11. Noah
Worst: Donna (sorry Donna fans lol)

The couples that should have been:
Brandon/Andrea, Brandon/Valerie and Steve/Andrea

I finised watching the show last year.
Anyway: I didn`t really love Season 9 that much.
What I didn`t like was that Brandon left and then Valerie left couple episodes after him. And then that Gina came oh no I never really liked her except for one episode but that was in Season 10.
What I liked in Season 9 was that Dylan came back and the Janet/Steve relationship.

The Gif was an episode in season 6 Bleeding Hearts where Brandon rescued Kelly from the drug dealers after she escaped from their house (Danny-Five's crib) while being attacked by one of the guys in there. It was the episode where she confessed her feelings to Brandon while lying in hospital getting "dried out"

oh wow. I agree. I also like Steve/Kelly, Steve/Carly, and Steve/Janet. I like Dylan/Toni and Dylan/Gina as well, not my favorites though. I love Val/David, ugh they didn't end up together. Donna/Joe was actually ok to me and I did like Lucinda/Brandon. Kelly I only really liked with Brandon, but steve was good too.

I actually would have been happy with Steve/Kelly endgame if Brandon wasn't available. Lucinda and Brandon were fantastic together, it was sneaky and funny. For me, Brandon and Kelly belonged together. I wasn't keen on Steve with either Carly or Janet but I didn't mind him with Celeste though.
How about Steve with Elle?

I loved Steve's relationship with Claire, probably my favorite pairing for him although I didn't watch the show in the later seasons so I'm not familiar with his later relationships.

In my opinion, Steve's best match was Clare.
I didn't mind him ending with Kelly though.
I wasn't keen on him with Janet, Carly or Val but I thought he was OK with Celeste

^ Steve wasn't good to Celeste though. At least not in the seasons I've seen...do they get back together at a later time on the show or was she just in the early episodes? Never saw him Janet, Carly, or Val. I must've missed the episodes where he was dating Val since I did see a lot of her arc.

He cheated on Celeste with that psycho Laura. They break up in middle of season 4. Steve and Val start hooking up from beginning of season 5 but it was short-lived.
He got with Carly in early season 8 before she left in the middle of the season, then Janet came, eventually marries her and has a kid

ahh right yeah i remember that now. hard times for kelly



yeah i was happy dylan came back at that point but i mean it was alot seeing both brandon and valerie leave like it just felt like well whose left. but i did feel like the steve janet realtionship sort of gave a nice happiness and sweetness to the season when there was nothing else.



OH my, my heart is breaking right now (im a donna fan)
