The Animals of Farthing Wood is an animated series by the European Broadcasting Union
between 1992 and 1995, based on the series of books written by Colin Dann.

It followed the animals of Farthing Wood, which was being destroyed by humans to build houses.
The animals fled the wood as a group, led by Fox, in order to reach the sanctuary
of White Deer Park, a nature reserve where they would be safe from humans.
They swore the Oath of Mutual Protection, where they promised not to eat, bully
or harm each other along the way. The journey was full of danger, and many animals lost their lives.

(but might I be a little nitpicky?

Norwegian has two written languages, and you chose it's name in the least used version. I guess that wasnt on purpose?

It wasnt my first, but it was one of my early obsessions

I was so totally into it when I was a kid that I still remember a number of details, now, well over a decade later

the other version is rather simular, but not quite. I am sure that the one who got that name listed must have been right proud of thenmselves

The name I am used to is "Flukten fra Dyreskogen"

No it's totally true...I mean you just watched the series, remember stuff here and there and when I compare it to what I remember of...Latin for example, it's kind of scary.

I really want to rewatch soon though...luckily it's all on youtube

I just watched some...and even as an adult this series is so enjoyable. For a kids series it seems to be really "intelligent". And all the issues they dealt with...so mature in comparison to what airs nowadays.
