It would've been nice to see them as a couple again and maybe to even get married before the end of the series.

I think she was poking fun at the whole we were on a break thing. At least that's how I took it.



Although on the other hand I could see them being off and on through their whole lives.

I'm sure she's kidding. I think she's commented in the past about how she thinks RR are married and have more kids.

I think RR were done running away from each other in the series finale. That's what they said when they finally got back together.

I could see it going either one but it seemed like they finally worked everything out in the finale.



I think most of the problem was early in the series was how jealous Ross would get.

Rachel also got jealous of Ross' other relationships: Julie, Emily, Bonnie, Charlie. There are probably others I'm forgetting about. They clearly never stopped loving each other throughout the series, it was just never the right time. I think they were both grown up enough to admit that by the series finale.
