4x16: "While You Weren't Sleeping"  (banner by izzyjane) airs: February 21, 2011 @ 9 p.m. Eastern STILLS: EPISODE DESCRIPTION:It wouldn't be a proper Upper East Side party without some major Gossip Girl drama, and for Eric's (Connor Paolo) 18th birthday celebration there is plenty to go around. Blair (Leighton Meester) decides to speed up the time table on her career path to becoming a powerful woman, but ultimately stretches herself too thin. Serena (Blake Lively) is forced to choose between her family and Ben (guest star David Call). Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Lily's (Kelly Rutherford) relationship remains icy in the aftermath of Lily's betrayal. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. I will never, ever forgive this show. Any happiness I felt over LC from the limo, is ALL GONE. I was already pissed that V had to apologize to Dan. But that ending? With the cake? AND CHUCK THERE. I will NEVER forgive this show.
Maybe tomorrow I'll review. Maybe. I don't have much to say except I ship Nate/Raina. Honestly, that's about all I can say anymore. __________________

2x07 at the end, BLSE had cake?
Yeah, Rufus, Lily, Serena, Eric AND CHUCK had a cake. I know it's irrational and silly of me to waste my time being so angry about this, but for them to blatantly disrespect vdB that much? I can't. And DV just got on my nerves. I HATE DAN. Nothing is ever his fault. Vanessa interacted with Ben and saw Ben/Damien "talking." Looks like she's going to be on a mission to bring him down. Joy. |

There were three scenes.
Vanessa and Ben (him on the phone to Dan). I actually liked that Ben didn't want to repeat what Dan had to say. DV at the party. Vanessa waiting for a cab and overhearing/seeing Ben and Damien. |

There is one thing that I like about the DV scene,V went to apologize but you also could see some indignation and anger on his part towards Dan,the one she should have had since she got back from Hiati.
But I hate that now Dan has reason to be mad at her  why they didn't let her have her moment of anger against him before¡Anyway, at least we dot some feelings from both parts. I wonder if Vanessa will go to Ben or Damian about what she saw  __________________

Yeah, her first scene was with Ben.
Oh, great catch, Karla. I do wish we got her angry at him. Because this is just bull that HE gets to be pissed. It's not like she actually did anything to him, unlike the fact that HE did something to HER. __________________
