I love CV fics because they're so AU.I didn't read a lot of NV/DV fanfic because I feel like fanfic of ruins the way you see the show but CV was always so AU even if there is so cannon.

I see what you mean about the stories. Really, I only read CB fics, and I love historicals because it doesn't affect our time. But CV is an AU ship despite the hook up.

I feel like it was always easier for me to let go ships because I don't read fanfic during the time shows are on the air,fanfic makes you believe in something that is not there in the show.

I don't know what I would do without CB fics, though. It's kinda the only way I get through this show. But..I read a lot of CBNS fics, and I get it. Because those make me crave it on the show SO MUCH. And there are so many great writers..that you just wish..WHY CAN'T THIS PERSON WRITE FOR THE SHOW. Ugh.

Most of CV fics tend to be smutty based

The best and most in character CV fic I've read has been Scotch ... in which they do kind of partner up set after ep 207. It's well written and I wish the author would complete it one day, but uh give it shot... if you ever have time to read it.

I've heard Scotch mentioned a lot, but I'm not sure about that one, yet.

I think I should just stick to one day writing my post 2x07 CBV fic. It would be easier for me than reading CV.
