Vanessa never said I love you tho or that she was in love with him.I think that what pissed her the most was that it wasn't necessary all that declaration over and over but he kept saying it.

To me she seemed crushed but more for the lies and the for loosing her friend than to losing the lover and that she felt like Serena only toying with DN.

Why they make Dan said I love you over and over I don't know but it's not the first time that characters said big words but their actions don't follow.

It happens in the show constantly.
