That was something I really loved about her. Because neither Cote nor Ziva are native speakers, and neither am I, I always felt a connection and I loved her little mistakes, because they were things that happen to us non native speakers all the time

I am going to miss her Zivaisms.

. English may be my native language but I'd still probably mess things up like her, not as often but it'd still happen

Some of her mistakes & confusion are quite understandable. Idioms are hard to remember, some are similar so easy to mix up. Then some things sound the same or if you don't know what someone means it is easy to misinterpret & think of something else

I love how they all just naturally correct her or go with what she says, ignoring that it is wrong. But it is more amusing when someone else is around & they're completely confused while the team understand it or can work out what she meant

I agree. I love that they continued having Ziva make these little mistakes. It seemed more real & they were a part of who she was. She may have come to understand the English language & American culture the more she was exposed to it but making mistakes with the idioms was part of who she was & one of many things fans loved about her. Along with relatable for anyone whose native language isn't English & possibly others (like me) whose native language is English

I appreciate the time, effort and skills that some people have in putting those gifs together, coz I have no idea.

And these are great reminders of why we endear ourselves to some of the characters like Ziva

So do I. Making one gif without colouring or adding text is hard enough, I don't think I'd have the patience to do just one let alone lots of them like they have

They are. Missed but still loved. I don't think that there will ever be a character like Ziva again or anyone who could have these Zivaisms. It wouldn't be the same if they tried
