Thanks for the thread!
So we get to meet the boy that Tony mentioned in the church! This could be very exciting. Another piece of Tony being revealed! __________________

Just finished watching the episode!
Okay I actually really really liked this episode, I have to admit it was the best one i have seen the writers do in such a long long time! I loved how we got to see a bit more of Tony's past from his Baltimore days and right before he became a cop, I actually felt for Jason I don't blame him for blaming tony for not saving his little sister in the fire, The talk in the elevator was brilliant! Because I'm sure Tony was Hurting just as much back then. The whole Plot line leading up to the season finale is definitely going to out with a bang, And I'm excited to see where all this leads to with the Season Finale of Season 9. It was actually great to see McGee and Gibbs interacting more, I'm sure a lot of us have wanted to see it for such a longggggg time. So i was happy with it. This is a team actually working together, I don't think we have seen that for quite some time either. Shame Ducky wasn't more involved though I could go on but I wouldn't want to be a bore, Might just re watch it again I give it a 9 out of 10! __________________

I loved this ep!
The look into Tony's past was heartbreaking. I found it interesting that this incident inspired Tony to become a cop. It truly was an impossible choice he had to make that night. Either way he would have lost and in the end he made the right decision. All he had to do was look at Jason and all Jason accomplished to know it was the right decision. Doesn't mean he hasn't thought about what could have been ever since. The scene in the elevator was amazing. Tony's advice was right. You simply have to focus on the ones you can save. Jason turned out to be a great guy. Very motivated by what happened to him in his past. It was sad to see him blame Tony for what happened. But it's understandable. He was only nine at the time and when your that age, you believe anything is possible. It seems Jason blamed himself over the years for what happened almost as much as he blamed Tony. Hopefully Tony's advice will help him put the past behind him and move forward. This ep provided a great setup for what seems to be coming ahead in the finale. It will be interesting to see who is the man behind the curtain of this one. Overall, it was a great ep. __________________

I thought it was a great ep... for all the reasons already stated. I would say something more but basically everything I was thinking about the episode has already been said.
I think it will be real interesting to see where this thing with that team (forgot what they are called!) is going. __________________

Michael really deserves some kind of award for last night's episode. __________________

Tony! That storyline... It was SO intense, and my heart broke when I realized that Tony HAD to make the decision to not rescue the little girl and saving himself and the boy instead Fabulous acting from Michael there! Also the scene in the elevator, I really loved that so much. I also loved the Gibbs/McGee interaction, and also that McGee was much more present in this episode than in the previous ones. All in all, a great episode __________________

watched it, liked it. it was a good episode, but - and don't get me wrong - there were better ones
and that michael is a good actor i knew long before this episode - he showed that often enough - and i think marc harmon could be right saying: he (michael) doesn't know how good he really is. |

No problem, there were better episodes, that's true I think it was one of the best in S9, at least for me, hehe.
Aw, that is sweet of Mark to say that, and might actually be true! __________________
