Plants, soil & pots go together... I'm talking from experience  Which reminds me that I have still around 200 plants to water today Thanks for the next thread  - completely missed that we were already over 300 pots for a while...  __________________

I wasn't thinking. The plants come in soil in the pot they come in, didn't think about how my pot is bigger than the pot it is now so I'd need more soil
That's a lot of plants  How long does it take to water them all? NP. I kept seeing it but just kept responding, not starting the new one Finally got the new thread started instead though__________________

That sounds like a beginner's mistake to me, forgetting about the current pot-bigger pot problem
Hope that you can get soil quick enough though  Between 1-2 hours. I usually take it in turns - but today I will need to go through all the rooms, and the roof-balcony & the "front garden" - plants in pots in a row before our door. I'm so not looking forward to spend more than 1 hour with just watering plants in 6 different rooms, plus 2 places outside __________________

Lets just go with I'm tired
. I was thinking about how I had two plants, & one didn't need the soil so I could use the soil from both to fill the pot that does need soil. Not realising that their pots were a lot smaller than my pot.I can go back tomorrow  Wow. That is quite a bit of time. Doesn't surprise me though. __________________

Being tired works as well
Pots & soil they always come together And plants that are whispering and "saying" buy me I still have a bit more watering to do, but it can wait until tomorrow... the plants in the house know that I'm not the expert... I'm sure that they are counting the days until my mom actually returns and can continue taking care of them... __________________

Hope you're not getting sick
Yeah, I just spoke with my mom and told her that I can keep 95% of her plants alive - she asked what's going to be the 5 % which won't survive... told her I don't know... ... Other than plants, I'm having quiet, and uneventful days for a change... The only "excitement" I have planned in is to travel to the north of the country for my brother's girlfriend's birthday in 2 weeks' time - I'm invited to the big family dinner ... * and I could hear on my brother's tone that he would appreciate if I'd be there to support him... as it will be his first dinner with all the possible future in-laws... __________________

I'm sure it'll be more than 95%  That does sound interested. Nice that he's going to meet the family & is thinking ahead like that. Nice you're invited, even if it is to support him as he meets everyone __________________

Will see, will let you know how the plants are doing... I don't mind to be part of his support system. I just need to figure out the logistics It falls on a Thursday, dinner will start at 6 pm - travelling will be at least an hour, and before that I need to get home to ensure that the cat has his food ready, and he won't starve - which means me leaving work early... And my guess is that dinner would last until 7-8 pm, which means me getting home by 9/10 pm, and then waking up to go to work following morning around 5 am... But I can do this... __________________

The 5 am is due to the cat wanting breakfast really... I could wake up at 6 am just as well - I just like to start 30 min early
But I can figure it out, it's only going to be a Friday... Today wasn't a bad work day, and I finally managed to teach something new to my part-timer... She's taking one more thing partly over from me, as I think she will actually enjoy the task... And I'm slowly grooming her into one specific role... How's your week so far? __________________

I'm sure you'll figure it out Sounds like a good day, with some slow progress getting somewhere My week isn't too bad. Not sure what was wrong with me on the weekend but seem to be fine now. So now I'd like a replacement weekend please I upset children today. I made them put jumpers on because it was getting cooler as the sun was setting/leaving the playground & I knew their parents wouldn't want them to get cold or sick. Mean me  __________________

Unfortunately, you can't get back wasted weekends But I'm glad to hear that you're feeling like your normal self. And sometimes we need to be mean with the colleagues, or with the children in your case, for their own good Half way through the week, I'm finally starting on the monthly finances... which is good. And my brother & dog are visiting tomorrow - they will pick me up at work. I hope that it's all good, just him missing me, and feeling slightly bored due to being in-between jobs, but will see... __________________
