yeah I was thinking that when I read it. I was wondering if we'd move onto Sam's family now that Callen has found his family although I feel the focus on Sam's family was still before Callen had really figured things out . Guess Sam's really the only one there with a family to target. Kensi & Deeks are each other's family - not sure if their mother's are still around to be targeted? From what I understand Nell's family isn't around & why would Nell or Eric's families be targeted? Although they are both getting more in the field work lately

That is a good point. Plus Sams wife was also an agent, so they are both good targets. Still though I like Sam and his family, but it's just getting redundant with them targeting them all the time.

Nice they brought back ECO's brother again to reprise his role And I just caught this time his last name in the show is his own

Also nice we got to see Sabitno pop up again. And trying to prove (supposedly) that he wasn't part of what happened earlier with the team.

The Sam/Michelle stuff was so sad and sweet.

I had a feeling that the place Kensi and Deeks had checked out with the security guard had something to do with everything.

Kensi and Deeks were so close to getting to Michelle! It's so freaking sad that they were not able to get there in time to save Michelle. I was shocked that they actually killed her off.

Poor Sam. Next week he is on a tear. I guess this is setting up next seasons storyline possibly too?

I always forget that she was an agent so a target on her own. Completely agree its redundant to continuously have them

I think I need to forget things I just read now (before I do try to put it from my mind though that could be why they've done the storyline as perhaps the actress wanted to be written out? not that she was in the show much, but it could be a reason)

I don't know that many people thought that they were actually going to kill off Sam's wife. Kensi and Deeks were so close to saving her and how devastating for those two that they were at that exact warehouse hours earlier. I hope this tragedy doesn't destroy Sam and Deeks relationship by having Sam blaming him and Kensi - Deeks & Sam seemed to have turned a corner after Deeks didn't rat out Michelle when they were kidnapped a few seasons back. I really felt for Kensi and Deeks knowing they failed to make it in time. It's going to be interesting to see where they go from here with Sam as he is going to need time to grieve but as we saw from the promo all hell breaks loose with Sam out for revenge. I think this is definitely going to affect the team dynamic for a time. I think Callan is going to have a big job in keeping the team together and making sure Sam is taken care of.

Yeah I almost put a warning for you Chelle. Sorry But yes, that could be a reason they did that to the character. I read somewhere she is on another show, so I dunno if that is part of the reason or something.


Agreed with everything you said Michelle. When I first watched I didn't even think of all the repercussions this could have on the team. But so true. I also hope Sam doesn't blame Kensi and Deeks for not saving her.

I wasn't expecting that ending at all Poor Sam. Deeks and Kensi were so close, and to think that they were at the warehouse earlier is just really sad

This was a very emotional episode, I'm so disappointed that they killed off Michelle! I really liked her even though we didn't really get to see much of her on the show, I really hoped Kensi and Deeks would be able to save her in time, poor Sam

the actress who played Michelle has a main role in the series Quantico airing on ABC. But even so, I don't see why they need to kill Michelle off, she doesn't appear on the show much anyway, out of the entire 8 seasons of this show Michelle has only appeared in a few episodes in total, they could've asked the actress to guest appear in a few more episodes when she's not busy filming her other show. There's really no need for the writers to kill Michelle...but I guess they wanted an emotional story arc for Sam.

Ah ok. Thanks for confirming the show she was on. I agree about killing off characters that aren't on there but a handful of times, but it's also possible that maybe the actress just didn't want to keep doing the show too maybe. Who knows.

mmm I guess that's also possible, the actress does have a big role on the other series so I can imagine she has been very busy filming the other show, which is probably filmed around the same time NCIS:LA is. And even though Michelle has only ever appeared in a few handful of episodes on the show, but they still often mention or reference her character on the show, which makes me think that the producers probably would prefer her to appear on the show more, but the actress couldn't because of schedule conflicts. Perhaps it was the actress herself who didn't want to appear on this show anymore, or like I said, maybe the writers just wanted a sad and heartbreaking storyline for Sam. Who knows, but I still think it was completely unnecessary
