Episode Summary
When Sloane's name is discovered in Afghanistan at the site of an abandoned bus with a
dead driver, Gibbs accompanies her on a trip to find a group of girls who were kidnapped
from the bus. Also, McGee, Bishop and Torres track down a hacker who emailed
compromising information to the Taliban.

I have read that Maria has said she'd be happy to appear again on NCIS, which makes people think she survives the ep. But of course we all know that anything is possible with this show. People can still appear even after they're dead or presumed dead. Supposedly though there's a promo or sneak peak that implies she might die? I've only seen this one which to me doesn't imply that

never been a fan of sloane, but I hope she will survive as well. I think the team had enough losses over all those years. and with breena's death the last one is still a very fresh memory.

It was an interesting episode I didn't catch all the connections in the case itself, but I know that at some point I'm going to rewatch the episode and pay more attention to the details.

I'm happy with the way how Sloane was written out... And I think that even the Slibbs fans got what they wanted...

Yeah I didn't see why they'd kill her off. All signs pointed towards them just writing her out. Then it would've been an unnecessary death (right after we'd already had one). From what I've seen how they've written her out is what I was expecting based on the episode description.

There was no reason

to kill her off except to give Gibbs more baggage with loss. And after killing Breena off. It was better for her to go off.

Leave it bittersweet for Gibbs.
Plus, it does leave it open the door. Say the show ends next season or sometime soon. They could have her come back for a cameo or more if they get Maria to agree.

That's what I was presuming until I read the episode description, then I figured that her exit would have something to do with what was happening in Afghanistan. That or something would happen there & make her want to go try reunite with her daughter more or something.

Afghanistan made more sense tbh, it felt like that she managed to get into a good place with her daughter...

Funnily enough the way she was written out made me recall H50 and how Catherine was originally written out
