This time leaving out the tags cause nothing in this response is spoiler :lmao:

I'll likely rewatch the entire episode too considering was watching it live, so want to see what I may have missed

Right? I miss CSI

Oh probably  no good

JustMe2000 11-19-2020 12:21 AM

I like the way they weaved things from that story line with the Navy band murderers into this episode. I also thought they did a really good job of working around the restrictions that the actors were facing while filming this episode. Gibbs and Fornell are great together although Joe Spano might want to lose the ponytail. :P

The beginning was confusing, but I figure all will be explained in time, so I'm looking forward to that.

Next week
Spoiler:
That should be awesome.

I'm slowly but surely making my way through CSI while waiting for new NCIS episodes

I agree, they did a really good job in terms of keeping to the covid measures while not making it obvious...

I though the way the worked around the covid protocols worked much better than NCIS LA, because it was almost natural. You would have known anything different than if you were watching a older episode.

They did pretty well dove tailing into last season. And explaining.

I am glad they did the titles, to makes sure we knew we were back in time.

I always love Gibbs and Fornell together.

Poor Jimmy. You had to be suspicious because a newbie suddenly showed, so close to him and Vance.

florerr 11-20-2020 03:07 PM

True, this episode felt natural...

& I liked the subtitles too. It's always nice to see a show which actually cares about showing/mentioning if something happened in the past ;)

agree with everythng you've said and I think it was a good episode.

just don't know what to think of the opening scene...mcgee actions seemed very stupid to me - acting alone and not seeking cover after the first shot - or the second - and seeing who was the shooter didn't make it less confusing. hope we'll find out what this was all about soon.

florerr 11-21-2020 01:32 PM

I don't know about soon, but we're probably going to get back to the present at some point...

shinebrighterxx 11-24-2020 11:23 PM

Don't show me the future & shoot my McGee :bawl: (or make it look like Gibbs did it)
Especially since I doubt we'll have answers to that until February :pout:

I wonder did they re-film Gibbs leaving part way through a case or just the new bits? :look: Is it wrong that I was to rewatch the ep & compare?

Good that Emily completed rehab :) Hope she has turned around now & will be ok

"Let's be clear here - I'm Sundance, you are never not Butch" (Fornell about Gibbs)

I like how this shows how we don't necessarily see everything that happens while they're solving a case. Also how Palmer is working on another body for a different agent

I have no words for Gibbs & Fornell :lmao:

Palmer babbling to Gibbs about if he already knew about the missing body

No Palmer

Interesting twists in this case... didn't expect that the body had been taken by Veronica but understandable why she would

Nice to see Vance in the field for a change. Not surprised he would go too, especially if Veronica & Jasmine are family.

What has Fornell done or at least what is he up to?

florerr 11-25-2020 02:55 AM

Chelle, I was thinking the same thing... And I couldn't tell either what was already shot/showed in the Musical Chairs episode and what wasn't

Loved the Butch references too :D

shinebrighterxx 11-25-2020 10:32 PM

I think I'll watch & compare over the weekend :look: :P

florerr 11-27-2020 02:32 PM

Sounds like a good plan

Thought this was a good episode. I hated that they opened with Gibbs shooting McGee though and now we have to wait. I am guessing it's all a setup though. Curious to see how it all plays out!

I liked that everyone was a part of the episode and working together. And of course, always nice to see Gibbs and Fornell working together!

shinebrighterxx 11-30-2020 12:44 AM

It definitely won't be what it looks like from that little bit. But I feel it'll be a while before we know the truth of what is happening there & why it looks like Gibbs is shooting at McGee :pout:

think that too, because McGee's behavior was just too stupid for an experienced agent like him....

that is what I am "afraid" of

florerr 11-30-2020 02:12 PM

It's definitely going to be quite some time before we get back to the "present"... :pout:

But I'm sure that at some point it's all going to make sense ;)
