Here we go again... Pride and his nightmares ...

But at least we meet the new agent too

shinebrighterxx 03-07-2020 01:08 AM

It doesn't sound like the new guy starts off on the right foot but hopefully he fits in well with the team in the long run

Was not happy when I saw the ep description for this. I just hope it comes to an end. I don't know why they have to keep dragging this stuff out!

The new agent should be interesting.

thanks for the thread.

:(:(:(but it was clear we will hear about it again. hope the episode is more about the case than the nightmares. and I hope the "special treatment" will help the end this for good.

not sure if we really need a new agent, but we will see if he is stays or not.

florerr 03-08-2020 01:02 PM

He reminds me of Gregorio tbh... I'm sure that he'll mellow down in time...

(I think I'm actually going to catch up with the show in May... I will have another long weekend spent alone with the cat planned... )

Why is it important to introduce a new character who is a jerk? Packing up someone's desk like that was disrespectful.

nuwanda 03-10-2020 04:45 AM

too much about pride, but at least we can hope it is over now.

the new guy seems to be a good agent, but he definitely has to work on his manners.
weird that pride requested him personally. guess we'll have to wait and see what is going to happen there.

the story the team was working on felt like it was just there to fill the time between the pride story (and to introduce the new guy). maybe just my opinion, because I am still tired of this whole story and I am getting annoyed easily with that.

yes, it was, but he seems to be an annoying person anyway.

Yes, there was a lot of Pride in the episode. I was getting tired of him seeing people but I am glad that we at least found out who this person was. I am hoping it will be the last we see of this storyline but I have a feeling it won't be. Maybe because I thought it odd he wanted to know who the guy was and didn't want to reach out to his mom to find out - but he has the resources that he could find out without asking her.

Not liking the new guy. I agree that it was disrespectful for him to start cleaning LaSalle's desk like that. And the way he was talking to everybody too. Gregorio was bad when she came in, but I don't remember her being like that!
Pride obviously knows something about this guy if he requested him IMO

at least then it is not about his dreams anymore.

mostlikely

Gregorio was bad too in the beginning... At least it took everyone in my family a couple of episodes to accept her character...

It's a good sign that Pride has asked for him, maybe he won't be such a jackass for too many episodes... :look:

took me some time too. didn't like her at all at the beginning.

there are just two ways: he changes and at least try to get along with his co-workers or he is going to leave again.

That is very true

I hope he won't be.

I guess I'm finally meeting the new agent...

... I like the fact that Pride was actually open about his psychological issues... It's a first. (I'm only two minutes into the episode... more or less...)

Edited:

I kind of like the new guy... He's a jerk, but I think he'll fit in well in time :P

Didn't expect that story behind Pride's nightmares/visions :thud:

shinebrighterxx 08-14-2020 08:07 PM

nice to see Pride being honest & trying to look after himself. Don't always get that in the other shows...

Oh I forgot about the new guy. He isn't starting off on the right feet there at all :look:

Pride's storyline in this episode is quite good. I like the reasoning behind the dreams
