From a business-perspective I'd assume that they'd want the same amount of job be done with less people. Still it's good that at least you have a job...

Yeah I guess Well the job I do, there are only two of us who do it, well 3 but the other 2 were assigned to other types of files since I am just part time. The area that I am in, they don't do as many files as they do on the other side so sometimes it's much slower than it is. But with every thing opening again, I think people just want to buy It's my choice to be part time or else I would do more... plus I have the other job that I go to the other days.

I am sure you probably did have to do that

Yeah, everyone wants to buy things & looking forward to vacation... Or just going anywhere at this point

I'm going to start baking tomorrow (again) I'm trying my hands with Black Forest Cake ...

Also the latest JAG episode I watched had Lana Parilla guest starring... Before she became famous

So young with glasses. I think I was around 11 when I got mine, but slowly my eyesight has gotten worse & now need them all the time. Before I just needed them for school to see the board properly.

It probably is just a busy time But still can't the employ another part time to help at busy times? (I know, that costs money, business won't do that)

My shoulder has been hurting since Friday morning. Holding children isn't helping. Was holding one for around 40 minutes today as he woke up really sad (seemed to be in pain from teething) & just couldn't be soothed fully. The poor thing . My whole arm hurt after that though.

I have glasses since I'm 3 years old, but at least I have "old persons vision"... Oh, and I also had an eye surgery at 12/13 (it was the year of the football world championship )

I still have to convert the measurements, to figure out what I still need to buy for it... But at least I found a quality source for the recipe, I don't dare to bake such a cake from a blog/pinterest/etc...

My sister was able to finally visit a private OB/GYN They're having a girl, and everything seems to be going okay


I'm close to finishing s7 of JAG, I'm not too far from the episodes with Bud being deployed in Iraq/Afghanistan...

I hope that it's just a muscle strain and nothing worse...

They probably could, but the department I am in is only where I live and we are the only ones who do it. I talked to the other person today and she said she is going to probably tell them just to put her back in our department since it's so busy between both departments. Ours is usually not this busy and when it is, it is usually only certain months. Like this time of year it would usually be pretty quiet, but with everything going on people want to buy

That is not good about your arm Chelle. Have you been icing it or putting heat on it to help? I can't remember which one you are supposed to do for pain but hopefully what ever you are doing to help it works

That is good news about your sister and congrats on you going to have a niece!

Yeah, but this year everything is out of normal...

I'm more than half way done with the Black Forest Cake... I ended up mixing 2 recipes with changing slightly on the measurements... I.e: I'm using less sugar/vanilla extract, stuff like that...

I'll try to upload a photo about the end result.

I finally got around to putting heat on it last night & that seemed to help lots. It feels better today. Still some pain but a lot better than it has been.

I had so many trouble with that cake, I sure hope that it will taste good...

(And I will have to write down all of the recipes, since my handwriting is only legible for me (& for my brother...)... Especially that I tend to only write down the ingredients with a numbers indicating in what order they should be mixed... )

My Saturday was great regardless of the storm/rain/colder weather going on outside...

Yesterday night I managed to finish an Argentinian Netflix movie (it only took me 4 nights) & I also finished binge watching Fuller House...

Now I only need to get back to watching OUAT & catching up with NOLA

But first I still have 2 applications to finish...
