NCIS: New Orleans 4.22 - "The Assassination of Dwayne Pride"
Original Airdate: May 8, 2018 @ 10PM

Episode Summary
When journalist Oliver Crane posts a scathing article documenting Pride's "reckless use
of justice," the team is concerned about the fallout from the piece and the confidential
information included in the story. Also, Rita Devereaux warns Pride that someone in
D.C. has coordinated this attack on him, and the article is just the beginning.

thanks for the thread.

said this before - even twice i think - but there are too many stories around pride (and his workstyle or attacks on him) the last two seasons

See that is true but i don't mind it , most of these stories all relate to each other so its not a story that came out of no where .

i love this storyline , i like that they took this route of him taking down the mayor and still have to deal with the consequences sometimes the other two shows just leave it and you know it should of been more of an issue .

Thwy have hinted this storyline for awhile about a leak in the department again

that is true as well and i think it is good to do that, but i think - and maybe it is just a feeling (and a bad one by the way) - that there are too many stories around pride and attacks on him, his bar, his daughter, his friends.
it used to be different in the first two seasons - at least this is how i remember it.

i am just a little worried that they do what they did with csi new york: the stories were more and more around mactaylor and he was the one who found the clue, solved the case etc and that took a lot out of the show. i don't want this to happen here.

nice to see rita back.
still not the end of the story, though.
hope there is an end to it at the end of the season, don't want a cliffhanger about this

I like that they don't just leave it too but I do also feel that there's a lot of Pride-orientated episodes. Not necessarily connected to this main storyline. The others don't get as much focus which is a shame. I like that Pride's actions are coming to bite him the ass, & how he owned up to it being right when Sebastian showed him the article

"you're Dwayne Pride's goon squad"

I guess we're meant to believe that Gregorio is fine after what happened to her in the previous episode?

I tuned out in the last half of this ep so think I'll leave the last two eps for now

This really was the "pride show" at this point . It should start becoming less of that as you move into the next season though
