Hello all

Please forgive my lengthy absence. Between my being crazy busy at work at the same time we moved locations (I'm not happy about it) I just haven't been able to join you all. I still might not be able to participate often but I should be able to chim in from time to time.

anyway... about NCIS: New Orleans. I read a TV Guide spoiler (not really spoiler except that Brody is gone) that drove me crazy. Maybe you can help. The writer said that It was "crystal clear" she wasn't coming back. I'm thinking No it wasn't. I've rewatched the tail end of that episode several times and nowhere does it give any indication she isn't coming back. When Homeland says they need to investigate the entire incident and they're all on leave for 2 weeks, Brody says she needs to clear her head on a beach somewhere. Nothing in her demeanor or in their parting conversation indicates it was a permanent goodbye. Am I wrong? What did I miss?

As for your question, no, I don't think you are wrong. I feel the same way. I never once thought that she wasn't coming back. I guess her needing to clear her mind is their way of saying crystal clear she's not coming back. Curious to see what excuse they use as for her leaving/when she decided to leave when this new episode airs.

I haven't seen it yet (mainly because I'm lazy as I've got the ep sitting there waiting to be watched) but if that's what they say then it doesn't sound clear to me

the ep was okay for the first in a new season, but they can do better...

there was a lot about brody, but still no real clue about why.

we saw a few more parties in New Orleans. wonder if there is a day without

also wonder if this is reality, always fighting about jurisdiction instead of working together and stopping the bad guys or if it is just for tv.

don't like the FBI agent, but she already is in the opening credits so i think i have to deal with her and hope it is getting better,

me too. they have had chemistry for a while. glad they are finally (sorta) approaching that on the show.

and yeah ive missed some eps of last season, but i watched the finale and this episode and nowhere did it seem that she wasnt coming back. everyone was taking a 2 week break. everyone seemed shocked she wasnt coming back except for loretta ? and since when did Sebastian have such a crush on brodie? i felt bad for him.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this episode. I thought it was pretty good.

I am glad they at least explained Brody's decision to leave even if it was a week explanation especially after no indication she was thinking about leaving from last season. I liked how they showed how much her decision to leave affected the members of the team.

Percy really took the news hard and poor Sebastian was, I'm gonna say heartbroken because he really liked her

I forgot Loretta was Mary's landlord. Makes sense she would have known first.

While I am not really liking the character, I did like how they introduced Agent Gregorio. She did end up being a tiny bit likable in the end.

Percy and Lasalle... I wanted more of them after last season finale

Yep i agree with this also anyone noticed Laselle looks skinnier??

I don't mind brody leaving i felt towards the end of season 2 they did push her out . They could of made more hints to her wanting to leave stress finally solving her sisters case than the harm in her team and the FBi investigation they could of work more with it .. but hey at least she didn't get killed off..
