That would make sense. I know we didn't see him die, but Callen did tell Darius he had passed, and Darius visited the grave.

The episode ends I think with him in the hospital, but then it changes to Callen at his funeral/grave so you know in that episode that he dies. I can't remember if you know that he's dying in the hospital scene or not.

Might have been left intentionally ambiguous so they didn't need to make a decision right away.

There was nothing ambiguous about it. You knew that he'd died as they showed you that right after the hospital scene. I just can't remember if they said he was dying at the hospital scene or not but I think that you knew it was going to happen, just didn't know it'd be the next scene.

He was sick, he only had a little longer to live... Because of the torture partly, but I think he had a long-term illness too...

Sydney - Assistant Director Shay Mosley. She came in one of the times Hetty has disappeared or retired & after Granger died. In the end she used the team to get her son back & then disappeared
