I wish they would pick better on scenes. There was that one with Nell and Deeks, the flashback scene in "Spoils of War" and there was another one from "Spoils of War" that they could have left in as well.

I think they pick the scenes which are the least to do with the storyline & keep the most important ones to the storylines

Yeah, but still. Some of what they take out could be used. Like the deleted scene from Chernoff K. I was wondering why she acted like that, I knew there was something going on, but I couldn't figure out what. I mean it was almost like what happened in "Frozen Lake" but without the punch and in that ep, there was a reason for her to lash out, she was treading water she hadn't before and she was afraid....and that was what I thought when she yelled at him in this ep and come to find out I was right. the deleted scene really explains her reaction in the one actually shown.

That's what I meant when I mentioned about how they decided... is on the deleted stuff. Sorry, should have explained it a little better I wonder how they decided what to keep and what not to on the deleted stuff.

It would be hard to pick but sometimes things have to be cut or changed even if they are important because of the timing

True, that's sucks big time.
I know that on Criminal Minds in the 200th episodes they cut some really good scenes...

Yeah I know Smash had a LOT cut out, especially at first as they had no idea how much of the episodes the songs would take up. I wouldn't want to be the person deciding what goes in the episodes & what ends up on the cutting room floor. It'd be an awful decision to have to make as everything would have had a reason to be in the episode but if the episode runs too long it needs things cut . What may work on paper may not work out on screen in the right amount of time they have unfortunately. But at least we still get some bits on the DVDs so not a complete loss

I don't know if there was anymore on Beacon or any other episode other than these three, but it looks like a good 15-20? I mean, in these two vids we have 6, plus the Densi one in Beacon........add in the other eps that have deleted scenes and if there are more on Beacon.....

I'll see if I can get an answer out of one of the people I follow on Tumblr.

They probably deleted more than they added to the DVDs but if there's a few maybe there's hope you still get to see most of them

My repeats are trying to confuse me. The ones from this week the first ep was the first ep from S6 while the second ep was whatever one I was up to from an earlier season (last ep of S3 it was - I just looked it up)
