Some people only check certain threads so it is useful to post them in a few threads which they fit in so more people see them. Plus it never hurts the post count to do that either

is anyone else as stumped as I am about them calling Deeks an agent instead of a detective and also the fact that he spoke of LAPD in past tense (" I started out as LAPD")? Seriously! That is all I can think of right now! I mean, were they playing that he was an agent or did something happen and they've been keeping it under wraps the past few episodes?
What is really crazy is that before the episode came out I wrote a story where Deeks reveals he is an agent and doubling as LAPD and has been from the start......When I saw the ep and heard them call him an agent I was floored! |

Looking at replies to an episode review someone had a similar response to you & another person replied saying that he became an agent not just a liaison last season but I have no idea since I've only seen a few episodes & the fansites I looked at still list him as a liaison

But they've called him a detective, liaison and LAPD cop since the beginning. This is the first time they've called him that. So there is an episode that hints to it? don't remember anything hinting at him becoming an agent last season. If anything I probably could see him becoming one after his torture or even after Kensi left. I think it is just that the whole thing with them calling him that just came out of the blue, no previous mention of it from Callen or Sam or even Hetty.

Thanks for the pics!
I didn't catch Deeks saying that at first, but now I am thinking about it I remember him saying he was an agent etc. I would hope they would have done that on screen if they were finally going to make him an agent not just the liaison. Maybe that's how he sees himself now - as an agent since he has been working with NCIS for so long now? __________________
