Interesting tease there at the end... Hmm... I can understand why she is hurt that Gibbs didn't look for her. But he was genuine in that he didn't want to look and find out he was wrong...

Where can this go now?

Loved the two episodes with Ziva! Great twists and turns! However, since she was billed as "Guest Star" looks like she won't be back for a while at least. But you just know there will have to be an epi where she, Tony and Talia show up so that'll be fun to look forward to. :)

I have to admit...and don't be mad at me...but I still don't like what's her name who's always dispensing her uninvited psychological know-it-all takes to everyone, tonight being Gibbs. I guess that's her main function on the show though...I just don't like her. And from the preview of next week's show, looks like they may be headed for a hook up. Boo hiss. That will ruin it for me and I'll likely fast forward through those scenes. :bawl:

Anyway, aside from that, still love this show and by the way, so great that Ducky still shows up in the episodes! I really thought it sounded like he wouldn't be in any future episodes when they made him historian and we all read various reports that he was leaving the show. He's such a positive, calming, kind presence every time he shows up. And McGee, Bishop, Torres & Kasie are all such positive, fun cast members as well. I also like the director as well. So...long story short, still love this show and can't wait for future episodes! :cheers:

Yeah, I don't care much about the Sloane & Gibbs romance either... They have been hinting the possibility for "ages" now... I always find it interesting how Gibbs said to love redheads and then gets involved with blondes :P

Anyways, back to the episode! It was a great episode, they did justice with Ziva and I'm looking forward to the other 2 episodes (hopefully) featuring Tony & Tali too...

Love the new cast: it was hilarious how Bishop & Torres were awestruck by Ziva while Kasie was like "yeah, she's a legend, but let's move on..."
... Torres & Ziva operating together was fun with Ziva saying "Eleanor you stay in the car..." :lmao:

Poor Palmer... He didn't got to meet Ziva, maybe next time ? ;)

And McGee showed a pic about the twins... Does that mean that we will finally meet them? :sigh:

As for the case and Sahar... I had trust in Ziva to somehow still be on the right side and she delivered it. It's good that we won't hear from that terrorist cell in the future...

I'm glad that Gibbs is now working with the team & for the most part Ziva is listening & not shooting Sahar.

I don't understand the issue with Sloane in this ep? All she did was her job & she didn't overstep anything :shrug:. She did what Gibbs wanted, then told him what he needed to hear

It does feel like the next step is for Tony and Tali to be reunited with Ziva. Or if they can't get Michael due to shooting logistics. Have a threat posed to Tali. Ziva did indicate she has been watching Tali. She would be school age now... Ziva sweeps back in to save her daughter. And the gang finds out, and helps. And make it seem like she's reuniting with Tony in the end.

IF she doesn't immediately go and fill in Tony. Whether they reunite or she's still in the wind. It's going to create some pain for the gang in what they can tell Tony.

Obviously they talk. Love that he and Jimmy get together once a month for a Fortnight contest.

Something tells me now that these two episodes are done, they will go back to shocking us when Ziva next appears.

Funny that Kasie just lets it roll off her back. While Nick and Ellie just have to meet with Ziva, as she's like a hero to them.

With Sloane it's just the promo of the next episode is hinting a romance between them...

I loved the Ziva & Bishop meeting scene... Especially that Gibbs (once again) didn't know about Bishop showing up... Loved the half-smile on Ziva's face when she realized that Bishop came on her own without waiting for Gibbs' approval...

That's what I thought but Jenny was talking about the episode as well what was shown in the promo from what I understood?
I never responded to the romance between them comments or talk about the promo for the next ep ;)

I will have to re-watch that scene at some point, but it's entirely possible yes...
Ziva had quite a lot of time to think about the what ifs regarding her life choices and Tony... So maybe she just wants the new team to avoid her mistakes... :look:

Yeah. The sparring they did at the office. You can see Ziva saw it, and knew it from experienced what it meant. Didn't catch that comment. I think Ziva wishes so much could have been different. She did end up with Tali. But she's on the run. And she's away from her away.

You can see there is a connection between Nick and Eli. I hope the show knows not to repeat old patterns.

And these days, shows treat their couples differently.

I think the show is more willing to go down that path this time, but hard to tell

When I heard it I had a 'hang on, wait a minute' moment & went back & played it again. It definitely sounds like that's what she's saying to him

Hopefully they will treat Nick & Eli differently... They actually have a chance to be together...

I mean Gibbs is not so strict anymore about the whole "don't date your colleague" rule...

Besides if going through the whole franchise after the at-times-painful ships of Mac & Harm and Tiva it'd be nice to have a solid couple (again) similar to how Bud & Harriet were in JAG...
Now that I'm thinking about it besides them the only truly happy couple within the franchise is Densi :eek: We don't see much of Palmer & Breena and McGee & Delilah...

Hopefully :look: :fingers_crossed: (I have a feeling we still need a thread for Bishop & Torres too)
